Why DeMar House
DeMar House is transitional housing: a structured, supportive home for adults working toward stability and independent living. The everyday essentials are handled, so residents can focus on appointments, work, family, and what comes next.
Applicants must have a stable source of income and be ready to follow the house rules and complete a 90-day probationary period.

What's included
Residents enjoy services that remove the daily stress of getting by.
Meals are provided, so residents can count on being fed without the cost and planning of cooking alone.
Laundry service is offered, keeping clothes and linens fresh with no trips to the laundromat.
Rides to and from appointments, so medical visits, meetings and check-ins are never missed for lack of a ride.
How residency works
Applicants show proof of a stable source of income, such as pay stubs or benefit letters.
Every resident begins with a contract that sets clear expectations from day one.
The contract requires a 90-day probationary period to settle in and show you're a good fit for the house.
Once probation is over, your residency is reviewed for an extension of your stay.
Questions about the agreement? Marcia Brunswick will walk you through it: 302-388-2490.
